Everything bagel hummus has all the savory flavors of an everything bagel in a smooth, creamy dip. It’s made with soft chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and roasted garlic, then blended until very smooth and finished with extra everything bagel seasoning on top. Great for dipping, spreading on sandwiches, or adding to a snack plate.

Need a new way to use your everything bagel seasoning? Try everything bagel hummus. For this recipe, I take my usual whipped hummus recipe and level it up with roasted garlic and everything bagel seasoning for a super savory, satisfying spread.
What is in everything bagel seasoning?
Everything bagel seasoning is a mix of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried garlic, dried onion, and usually salt, although I make mine without salt. It’s the same topping used on everything bagels, and it adds a savory, slightly nutty flavor with lots of texture. You can buy it at most grocery stores, but it’s easy to mix at home and tastes fresher.
It’s important to use dried or dehydrated garlic and onion, not garlic powder or onion powder. The flakes give the seasoning texture and crunch, while powders would be too strong and unpleasant to eat sprinkled on toast, bagels, or hummus.
Homemade seasoning also works well for sprinkling on hummus, everything cucumber salad, avocado toast, or everything soft pretzels.
