Ingredients: black beans, bell pepper, corn, onion, garlic, oats, egg, chipotle paste, spices

Blend bell pepper, onion, and garlic in a food processor, until chopped.

Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until mixed. Add more oats or flour if the mix is too wet. Let sit 20 minutes so the flour and oats can soak up the moisture.

To bake: Scoop by 1/2 cup onto a lined baking sheet.  Smooth/shape with a spoon into a burger patty shape. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, flipping once.

To pan fry: Drop by 1/2 cup onto a heated and oiled skillet.

Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked and crispy.

Serve on a burger bun or toasted bread with your favorite toppings, such as mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato and red onion.
