Notes
Don't want to use Parmesan cheese? Try Pecorino Romano, Grana Padano, or Manchego.Don't want to use fresh garlic? Try 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder instead. What potato to use for homemade fries? Russet potatoes and Yukon Gold potatoes have the best texture for homemade fries. Thicker cut fries or wedges will take longer to cook.Want to air fry instead? Follow the air fryer instructions on the package, or bake for 6-8 minutes, flip and then bake again until done, about 2-4 more minutes. I use a Cuisinart Toaster Oven Air Fryer and I think it cooks faster than dedicated air fryer appliances. Know your appliance and keep an eye on your fries.
