Melt the butter and then combine with the syrup and spices.
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add the butter mixture and stir to coat.
Spread the granola mix on the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown, stirring halfway.
Let cool completely and store in an airtight container.

Makes 6 cups.Should last for up to two weeks in a container with a lid.Watch the granola carefully in the last few minutes, it can burn quickly.
