Notes
Rimming the glass is an easy way to make a classic cocktail feel more like a festive holiday drink. It looks pretty and also provides added flavor.Use eggnog instead of milk and make it an eggnog white Russian instead!Make the syrup ahead of time (even the day before!) and let it cool before mixing drinks.Buy cinnamon sticks at a bulk food store or at Walmart and use them as stir sticks during the festive season. These cocktails are best made as needed. If you're serving them right away, you can premix a large batch in a large pitcher.I prefer to make them one at a time because I think the rippling of the ingredients and the contrast of the color of the Kahlúa and the cream in the glass is part of the charm of a white Russian drink.
