Place almonds into the bowl of a food processor with an "S" blade on or a blender jar.
Process the almonds. They'll go through a few stages. They'll turn to a fluffy almond meal/flour, then chunky, then to a paste, and finally to a smooth butter. The process can take 10-15 minutes depending on your appliance.
Store in a jar with a lid in the fridge.
Notes
This recipe makes about 1 cup of almond butter.Nut butters are best stored in the fridge.Let the almond butter sit on the counter for a few minutes before using it to help make it easier to stir and spread.I prefer using my blender jar over the food processor jar but you can use either.
