1 lb (2 cups) dried chickpeas 2 teaspoons kosher salt (or 1 teaspoon table or sea salt) 5-6 cups of water
Ingredients
Rinse the chickpeas. Add the chickpeas to the pressure cooker with water and salt.
Cook for 34 minutes. Natural pressure release for 10 minutes.
Do a quick pressure release. Use chickpeas right away or let cool and refrigerate or freeze.
Use chickpeas in soup, hummus, pasta, veggie burgers or baked as a snack.
