2 cups chickpeas 1/4 cup tahini 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cloves garlic 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 1 cup fresh basil leaves 4-5 large ice cubes
Ingredients
Add everything except ice to the blender and blend for 5 minutes or until smooth, scraping the sides down often.
Blend well - this helps make the hummus very smooth.
Add ice, a cube at a time. Blend well after each ice cube.
Blend until smooth and then serve.
