5 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies – This easy cookie recipe requires only one bowl, no creaming together, no softening butter and no mixer! You just need 5 ingredients for these soft and fudgy inside peanut butter cookies!
This recipe was created mostly by my daughter and inspired by the recipe on a jar of peanut butter.
We cut down the sugar and added in oats and vanilla. The result is a quick and easy batch of cookies, which is perfect for my house because we can't seem to keep cookies around!
The number one choice in my house is my Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. But you whip up a batch of these in no time with fewer ingredients and dishes - a total win!
Ingredients
- peanut butter: we use store-bought creamy peanut butter for this recipe. I don't recommend natural peanut butter for this recipe because it's a bit different and I haven't tested it yet.
- sugar: for sweetness and texture.
- egg: for binding the ingredients together and adding structure.
- vanilla: for flavor. Skip it if you don't have it.
- oats: for chewiness!
