Happy Canada Day & Happy 4th of July Recipe Round Up

Hey everyone, and welcome to my Happy Canada Day & Happy 4th of July Recipe Round Up.

I’m checking in after some time away here. It’s been a bit of a crazy time lately.  But  think I can finally get back to this.

Today I’m going to highlight some of my favorite summer party recipes.  We may have just celebrated Canada Day in my country, and July 4th is tomorrow, but we still have a whole summer of fun party food 🙂

If you’re lighting up the grill, you can’t go wrong with these Turkey Burgers (just grease up the grates a bit, or they can stick). They’re also excellent cooked in a frying pan.

These burgers look great too! Tilapia Burgers from Culinary Ginger.  Her Chipotle Chicken Burgers look awesome too!

Or how about a Butternut Squash and Bean burger for the vegetarians? I’m not vegetarian and I LOVE these burgers.

Don’t forget to make up some Brioche Style Buns!

Quick Light Brioche Style Buns. All the rewards of freshly baked homemade bread, but you don't have to spend all day in the kitchen. Get the Recipe @pipercooks PiperCooks.com

I also love these salads!

Buffalo Ranch Chickpea Salad from Veggies Save the Day.

Honey Mustard, Chicken, Bacon & Avocado Salad from Cafe Delites

Buffalo Chicken Salad from Calsbad Cravings

And I`ll probably need some chips & salsa… Salsa Verde & Pico De Gallo

Or maybe this Avocado Mango Salsa from The Jenny Evolution. Love the sounds of this Avocado Hummus too from Cooking Classy.

How about a nice summery cocktail? Love my Thai Inspired Vodka Cocktail

Or this Pacific Rim Margerita from Bakerita looks nice

I could go for this Orange Drop from Cooking with Curls..

Or this super fresh Cucumber, Lemon & Mint Spa Water from Ciao Florentina  sounds excellent.

Gotta have those treats too.  You can’t go wrong with these ones!

Strawberry Greek Yogurt Frozen Pop

Or try these Coconut Chia Parfaits from Pass Me Some Tasty.

Anyway, I hope you’re enjoying your summer so far.  I`ll be back soon with some new recipes, including one for Pineapple Salsa!
